The story of the patented SnowFlake Cut began with a quiet snowfall in 1996. Ralph Wobito, a third-generation Master Gem Cutter, was working late in his Canadian studio, sketching new ideas. As snowflakes gently danced outside his window, inspiration struck. A few meticulous hours later, a new diamond shape was born—one as unique and fleeting as nature itself.

Together with his brother Rudi, the Wobito Brothers transformed that moment into a patented masterpiece. Descended from a long line of gem artisans in the famed cutting hub of Idar-Oberstein, Germany, Ralph and Rudi brought decades of tradition, precision, and artistry to every facet. Their creation—the SnowFlake Cut—earned international acclaim for its symmetry, brilliance, and poetic geometry.
